| CINDY LOU Synopsis | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Single and beautiful Danielle, lives alone in a gorgeous house in the relaxed and playful Los Angeles suburb, Hermosa Beach. She works as an entertainment lawyer, constantly surrounded by handsome single movie stars like George Clooney, Matthew McConaughey, and Benicio Del Toro, and is passionate only about her work - until a very sweet little Pug dog catches her attention on a visit to a local shelter. Falling in love with Cindy Lou brings Danielle's whole heart alive - stirring up memories of her childhood and the wonderful dog that they had as a family. But when she returns to the shelter after spending all night getting her house ready to accommodate her new friend, the little Pug mix is gone, sending Danielle on a desperate search to find her. Meanwhile, a cast of terrific characters do their best to entertain anyone who walks into the shelter: a constantly upbeat and ridiculously appealing poodle, who tries to convince everyone that poodles can sing the blues (and ends up revealing her big secret); her complete opposite, Grunt, a vicious intimidating dog with biting sarcasm and a dark past; and Ian, everyone's best and most comforting friend, who wrote and choreographed the perfect song that will get them all adopted before their time at the shelter runs out. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
