Sally Puente has performed leading and supporting roles in musicals. Last summer she played Sister Margaretta in Tustin's Broadway in the Park production of The Sound Of Music. As a member of the University United Methodist Church choir in Irvine she sang in many wonderful concerts, oratorios, and musicals that the choir performed. It was about this time that she began studying voice privately. She also performed her very first solo recital there in 1985. She earned her Master of Music in Vocal performance at California State University Long Beach in December 2003. She enjoys teaching voice at Music Maker Studio in Anaheim Hills and in her home studio in Tustin. Sally's mother would want you to know that her love of singing began in infancy when she would sing herself to sleep each night in her crib. |
