Sally Puente received her Master of Music in Vocal Performance in 2003 from CSU Long Beach where she sang the role of Mrs. Gobineau in Menotti's The Medium, and for her graduate recital performed scenes from Puccini's Tosca. She has also sung leading and supporting roles in H.M.S. inafore, The Desert Song, and in Fiddler on the Roof. She sang the role of the Apparition in Verdi's Macbeth and Inez in Verdi's Il Trovatore with Casa Italiana. She has given many solo recitals in which she has performed a wide variety of arias, art songs, and spirituals. Sally has performed with Contemporary Opera Los Angeles twice, both times in a role which was created for her, Kathy the cat. |
