Nicoline Gleason soprano, was born in the Netherlands, has lived in Canada, and is now a resident of Orange Country, California. She received undergraduate vocal training at the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California and Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. She received the Florence L. Schumacher Encouragement Award from the Orange regional Metropolitan Opera competition, and was the runner-up for the Musical Arts Club of Orange County. Nicoline performed the role of Mother Goose for the USC Opera production of The Rake's Progress, performed in the chorus of Chattanooga Symphony & Orchestra's production of Die Fledermaus, and was chosen to perform with USC's Chamber Opera in Ahmal and the Night Visitors. She is currently a student of Cynthia Munzer. |
