Lisa Boyd is a classical soprano and modern dancer.  A graduate of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, Lisa has earned degrees in vocal music performance, modern dance and theater.  Her vocal career began as a featured soloist for the chamber ensemble of Waverly, Iowa, directed by Alan Hagen.  Performances for this ensemble included an invitation to Austria's Millennium Festival, where the ensemble performed first in Vienna and then throughout select cathedrals across Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.  Lisa has since enjoyed a diverse selection of operatic and theatrical stage roles ranging from Gianetta in The Gondoliers to Laurey in Oklahoma.  Lisa has just begun her vocal career here in Los Angeles performing with the El Dorado Opera Company in I Pagliacci and Hansel and Gretel.  She is thrilled to have created the role of Sparrow in the world premier of "The Tree" which debuted at the Los Angeles Theatre Center last spring.  A devoted dog mom and animal rescue advocate, Lisa is extraordinarily delighted to be a part of "Cindy Lou" .
