Delaina Brown is a Manhattan Beach Coloratura soprano and was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She received a Bachelor of Music from UCLA and a Master's Degree in Opera Performance from the Boston Conservatory. Ms. Brown has enjoyed a broad career in Acting, Musical Theater, and Opera. She played Freddie/Treemonisha in Tin Pan Alley Rag, Sara in Ragtime, and Levee Girl in Showboat all at the Fullerton Civic Light Opera. She has been featured in Ragtime, Evita, and Titanic at CLO South Bay, At the Boston Conservatory Theater, she played Ms. Silverpeal in The Impressario, Harry in Albert Herring, the title role in The Ballad of Baby Doe, and Gilda in Rigoletto. She has also studied beginning jazz dance at the Debbie Reynolds Studio. Although this is her first performance for charity, she hopes there will be many more to follow.
