Daniel Wilson starred as "Grunt" in COLA's second season production of CINDY LOU and has been singing and performing professionally for over 25 years. His first professional job was at Walt Disney World in Florida, where he sang and danced with The Kids of the Kingdom. Anyone who has seen Dan dance knows that he uses the term loosely. His theatre credits include Carl-Magnus in A Little Night Music, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Tony in West Side Story, Curly in Oklahoma (at least 30 times...egads!), and Captain Jack Absolute in Sherican's The Rivals. As a professional singer, Daniel has sung with The Los Angeles Chamber Singers, and Capella (under the direction of Peter Rutenberg), with the Long Beach Opera, the Southern California Choral Society, The Jane Hardester Singers, and most recently is a baritone singing with Zephyr:Voices Unbound. Dan is also currently the cantor and baritone soloist at St. Cross Episcopal Church in Hermosa Beach. |
