As you know, our primary goal at COLA is to introduce opera to people who have never heard it, to dispel the reputation of stuffiness and pretension which has alienated many. While most are convinced that the only KILLING in opera will be audience members dying from boredom, after seeing COLA they are surprised to find themselves excited to give opera a chance.
In addition to creating a comforable and intimate atmosphere by presenting opera in English and in a modern performance style, we also keep ticket prices affordable. We could charge $80-$100 per ticket but we keep the price low to make it easy for anyone to give an extra tax-deductible donation to a worthy charity.

Fact: 99% of all animals bought at a Pet Store are from Puppy Mills.
Bottom line: go to a shelter and adopt a dog. In addition, every breed has a rescue organization. Do a search online for your favorite breed and you will find an organization who rescues them. Do not buy from a pet store.
